Lucius is a tall blonde haired, faired skinned man, who always seemed to be looking down his nose at everyone. He only has a few age line around his eyes, but other wise, her has aged very well. He is masculine and always has wealthy robes on, along with a cane that he has with him at all times. A smug grin, a contemptuous sneer, a looming presences...Lucius Malfoy is usually seen with a nonchalant expression on his face, but has a multitude of other signature expressions.
Upon his square face, cool grey eyes are seen to be looking down at one, or --as some might say-- have the capability to see right through you. Again, concerning his hair, It's it seen either tied back while he is at work for the Ministry, or can be seen being worn down, sprawling across his broad shoulders. He wears only the finest things. He has a closet full of tailored, high-collared robes and suits. He also always has his snake headed cane with him to conceal his wand.

Lucius is a sarcastic aristobrat that is used to having things go his way. Being born a Pure-Blood, Lucius is rather nasty to anyone that is not of pureblood. While he is snide and prude, Lucius can be very impassive. However, it is rather easy to get on his bad side. Lucius gives off that charming yet dangerous appeal to women. Men seem to tolerate him, but some just think is a bad egg. Of course, to himself, he's on top of the world and will look down on those who are beneath him. He likes to keep that pointed nose of his up in the air at all times.
On the contrary, Lucius can be rather generous to people (generosity being his money). However this mainly happens if you are his family or you found a wealthy organization. It would be a very odd think to say 'Mr. Malfoy gave me a hug today mommy!' The man can be quiet when he wants and will always defend himself first. Being an aristocrat, Lucius thinks of himself first. If you are lucky, he might acknowledge you.

;; origins
general;;
Lucius Malfoy was born into wealth and class. As a child, he was trained in etiquette. His parents treated him with a sort of indifference, using toys and money to try to buy his loyalty and affection. They also instilled in him an overzealous sense of pride in his pureblood heritage.
By the time he received his letter from Hogwarts, it was simply assumed he would end up in Slytherin. The sorting hat didn't have to think twice before spouting out its decision: he would be a Slytherin like the rest of his family. He fit in well with the other students. He did well in his classes. In his fifth year it came as no shock to anyone that he was made prefect. In his sixth year Lord Voldemort came into power and he and a few of his friends had plans to join up with him when they graduated.
In his seventh year, he met Narcissa Black. Despite her being a year or two his junior, the two hit it off. They didn't start seeing one another for another two years and a few years later, they married. Once Lucius was 19, he joined the ranks of Death Eater, and found this lifestyle much more befitting a man such as himself.
Three years after he was married, he and his wife celebrated the birth of their first and only son: Draco. A year later the Dark Lord climbed even further in power. Things looked bad now that the Dark Lord had taking over things, but Lucius managed to weasel his way out of being questioned by those at the ministry about where his allegiance lay. He claimed that he would always defend the magic community and see to its well being. The authorities were unable to disprove his claim, and so he and his family were left alone.
He brought his son up the same way his parents had raised him, except without the etiquette lessons and showing a little more affection than they had. A few years before his son was to be accepted into Hogwarts, Lucius he got a spot in the ministry as the school governor. He liked the idea of having a say in his old school's dealings.
Before his son's second year at school, His plan began to take effect, even more so than he could have hoped for. He had the opportunity to bully some of the other board members into suspending Dumbledore from the school. How he had relished that day. Unfortunately the foolish headmaster had been allowed back to the school.
The next year found him petitioning to have a hippogriff at school put to death for attacking his son. The ridiculous oaf, gamekeeper had allowed third years in the presence of hippogriffs. He'd gotten the half breeds pet sentenced to death, but somehow, and he suspected Potter had a hand in it, the beast had escaped.
That summer he took his family to the Quidditch World cup, having gotten box seats from the minister himself. After enjoying the match, he ran into some of his old friends. They got to drinking, and started to reminisce about the older days, when they had struck fear into the hearts of muggles, and Mudbloods alike. Yaxley, he though it was, suggested they have a bit of fun for old times' sake. They found the muggle campground master and his family and gave everyone a night they wouldn't forget. That is until they saw the dark mark and fled the scene. However now that had all changed and once more he and his fellow Death Eaters would take up the cause of ridding the world of the unworthy. He was chided for his lack of devotion to restoring Voldemort, but proved his loyalty over again.
The next year he was presented with the perfect opportunity to take the ministry into his own hands, with the Dark Lord over seeing his plan of course. With the number of Death Eaters increasing, Lucius felt that things were definitely on the rise for the pure-blood folk. No longer would he have to sit around and listen to old ministers giving Mudbloods lee-way for their actions. No, he could stop it once and for all.

Just the same, the morning light had roused Lucius, but earlier than he would have liked. His room felt a tad bit cold as he removed the covers from himself, and almost hissed when he put his bare feet on the cold floor below. Oh how he despised morning like these. They often set the tune for how his day would go, and today, he supposed would be an annoyance.
Pushing himself up from his bed, Lucius padded across his room and walked into a large bathroom. Looking into the large mirror, he rolled his eyes at his 'lovely' appearance. Last night he had failed to take his hair down, and now the black bow was all crumpled, and his hair was frizzy. Deciding not to flip his reflection off, he instead went over to the shower and turned the nozzle on.
Sooner than later, a heavy flow of steam lifted from behind the shower doors, and then rushed out when the blond man opened it to step inside. Breathing in the warm air, Lucius closed his eyes. The hot water kneaded his sore muscles, but made him feel more tired than he already was. If he past out in the shower, it was be such an embarrassing thing for the likes of a Malfoy.
--
Once his shower was complete, Lucius dried his hair and went to his closet, exposing his mass variety of robes to choose from for the day. AS the minutes passed, his hands went for the black ones numerous times before they decided on a rather dark blue on instead. Had didn't have to go to the ministry today, and a change from the regular was needed.
Once he was dressed, Lucius sought out his cane and snapped his fingers. Almost immediately, a gnarled house elf appeared out of thin air before him. His frumpy sheet of clothing and his overly large ears made him more than just a sad looking creature. With all the blisters, bumps, and other open wounds, one could easily tell that it was the work of one Mr. Malfoy.
"Yes master?" The elf bowed low to the ground, "What does master need from Grendly?"
Lucius looked down at the petite creature from the tip of his nose. "I require breakfast Grendly. And some tea as well."
"Yes master, Grendly will.."
"Very good Grendly, now go before I loose my patients!" he snarled.
True, it had only been a small second since he had told Grendly what he wanted, but he was Lucius Malfoy; his patience were as bipolar as a checker board.
Walking from his rooms, Lucius walked down the hall, but stopped for a moment when he noticed a door was open. Peeking into it, he found that Narcissa was already up and about. Strange....it had been awhile since she had been up before him. However, shrugging the matter off, Lucius continued on his way down the winding stair case and plopped himself down into the overly large dinning hall. Before him sat the Daily Prophet, Tea, his plate, and his eating utensils. Now all he needed was a hearty breakfast. Where was the d**ned elf?
