"Mustn't be too useless, love. You'd 'ave never kept me," Bellatrix tried not to frown out her annoyance. Why was Roldolphus always right? He always seemed to know what she was thinking even when she didn’t want him to. He couldn’t predict her next move but he always knew what was on her mind. This annoyed Bellatrix an awful lot, she did not like the idea of others being able to read her so easily she preferred to have that air of mystery that no one could work out. d**n Roldolphus Lestrange and his mind reading skills of doom. ”Perhaps so.” The response was short but for once Bella was more then a little stumped for words on that one.
Bella secretly liked something about Roldolphus, lawd she’d never admit it but there was something about him that kept her with him. Like I said before he was right, she’d of never kept him around if she didn’t like something about him, whatever it was. Bellatrix was not one for showing outward emotion, but just sometimes Bella would show how fond she was of her husband through small act’s that were rare but meant something to the both of them. You could say they acted as reassurance.
She eyed him in a shifty and wary manner, it had been weeks maybe months since Bella had, had this sort of communication with her husband and it felt, with want for a better word weird. She let out a gentle sigh before taking a seat next to him. "You were brilliant last night, love. Seemed like we were just kids again," Bellatrix let a smile form before nodding her head. ”Indeed perhaps we ought to do it again sometime, after all we do little together.” She said the word’s quite happily unaware of the fact that they probably meant an awful lot to her often-neglected husband.
Bellatrix would say the word’s now but later on she would demise them, and once again poor Roldolphus’ heart would take a good beating. It was always wise to never heed to much on Bella’s word’s, after all she was such a fickle woman. Bella swept some hair from her face in a nonchalant manner before frowning slightly. ”Would you like something to drink ?” She had not realised how thirsty one could get after so much torment of a few pointless beings.
The night had gone as quick as it had came and felt like just a few moments ago that the dysfunctional pair had teamed together for the despair of others. (occ: Sorry it's a little short love, don't have any energy or muse o.o)

”Indeed perhaps we ought to do it again sometime, after all we do little together.”
Rodolphus felt his eyes pop back open at the sound of those words that fell so easily from Bella. Looking over, he let a slight grin pass across his tired face. They were such a dark and twisted pairing, Rodolphus knew better than to let those words get to him. He knew.
How many countless times before had he heard something similiar to them only to get trapped by them later when Bella turned them into something harsh. For whatever reason though, Rodolphus clung to words like that even though the years had always taught him better. He was loathe to pick up on the lesson and it seemed like he never would.
"Would be nice," Rodolphus intoned simply, glancing over to Bella as she sat down. When she smiled it was usually when she was tormenting others. To see her smiling now, however small was odd. The thought passed through Rodolphus's mind that maybe he was the one being tormented now. He shut the thought out quickly but the possibility that it was the truth still nagged away at him. His brow furrowed in subconscious frustration, giving him a headache. Rubbing at his temples, he looked over to Bella when she spoke again.
”Would you like something to drink ?”
The house elf that was just passing past the doorway looked tentively at the pair. Rodolphus's eye catching it's, he dismissed the creature on with a small wave of his hand. Scampering quickly on the elf gave a silent sigh of relief. As he got up from his chair, Rodolphus walked over to the window where there was a small table. Waving his wand over the table, a bottle of fine red wine appeared. Grabbing it, he set it down the table.
He glanced through the window as he traced the forms of two goblets with his wand. The streets were steadily filling with witches and wizards. Setting his wand on the table and taking the two goblets from the air, Rodolphus wondered how many of them were half blooded or less. With an angry pop of the bottle's cork, Rodolphus filled the glasses. He took a drink from one of them as he walked back over to the chairs and Bella.
"You know, love, I've been hearin' some interesting things from Hogsmeade's way," Rodolphus said, with a slight raise of his eyebrow. Setting his glass by his chair, he knelt by the arm of Bella's chair, handing her over her glass. "Somethin' about a certain niece of ours," he added, noticing a piece of hair that had fallen into Bella's face.
Brushing back off her face, Rodolphus smiled again. "As distasteful as it is to bring the little half blood up, love, I've been hearin' she's been getting in the way. More and more. Maybe we should go there and take care of that problem. Like a bit of a holiday," he said with a smirk.

"Would be nice," Bellatrix nodded, a small silence fell between the pair, Roldolphus' reponse was short and curt but no one could expect mericles, ussually these to were barely on speaking terms and now they were acting like 15 year old's going through that "oh so comfortable stage" of "I've just found out i like you and i have hormones." The fact that the pair had finally learn't how to communicate after months was more then a small suprise. It appeared that perhap's that Bella may have actually got a heart after all. Scary i know.
Bella, had never ever taken any notice to how much a few word's that fell easy from her lips could impact a person who cared about her most possibly more then any other person that she just happened to know. It was a sad story and it reality thing's were never going to change, no matter how much effort was put on either party. Bellatrix would say one meaningless thing after another and Roldolphus' would hope she mean't and then he'd get a good old'e fashioned emotional beating.
Twas a way of life...
Bellatrix scowled at the cowering house elf and watched as Roldolphus waved him off, one thing was for sure Bella would not of been waving the poor bugger off (which was probably the reason for the shaking.). When the creature had taken it's leave Bellatrix had turned her attention back to Roldolphus whom had gotten up to travel across the room to go and get drinks.
She gracefully accpeted her drink and took a few gentle and cautious sips of it. "You know, love, I've been hearin' some interesting things from Hogsmeade's way," Bella's attention had just suddenly sparked up at this, what was the hear say? Even as a young girl Bella had always had a small weakness to gossip, she would never admit it as that would prove Narcissa right.
"Somethin' about a certain niece of ours," Bella's attention was now more then a little extreme, she wished to know about the little half blooded brat Nymphadora, she wanted to know what trouble she had caused. Nymphadora Tonk's was Bella's second younger sister's daughter, she had for some reason married a muggle, got disowned and now spawned Nymphadora whom was as filthy her mother.
"As distasteful as it is to bring the little half blood up, love, I've been hearin' she's been getting in the way. More and more. Maybe we should go there and take care of that problem. Like a bit of a holiday,"
Bellatrix gave a broad grin, oh she could not give up this oppurtunity, no she had to canker away at the filth that infected her noble family tree. "Yes i agree, we ought to would be a little fun would it not love?" Bella's eye's were lit up in excitement of this new proposition. "I think the family tree need's a little cleaning."

"Yes i agree, we ought to would be a little fun would it not love?"
Folding his arms along the arm of Bella's chair, his dark eyes glanced up at her as she spoke. Roldolphus had rested his chin on his arms and tried to listen to what Bella said. His lids were only getting heavier and heavier as the minutes past. The light in her eyes as she spoke held his attention, it always did. Those eyes were by far the most dynamic thing about her and what Rodolphus loved the best. Often, they were cool and calculating, but live with a person long enough and you've got to know better. Try as hard as he might, Rodolphus still caught himself getting lost in them.
"I thought you might like the idea," Rodolphus said with a smile. That grin of Bella's was especially intoxicating when Rodolphus was tired. While Rodolphus could be as stubborn as Bella could be, when he was tired, that dropped considerably. An observer would call the scene a cold one, a pair of people that were seemingly incapble of displaying emotion. Rodolphus would have to shake his head and call them fools. As foolish as he could be with his feelings regarding Bella, the scene wasn't devoid of emotion. It was simply more subtle. At least, it was to him, and for him that was all that mattered.
"I think the family tree need's a little cleaning."
"Pruning, love, it needs pruning," Rodolphus said sleepily, half of an amused smile passing on his face before his eyes shut. Since he had been little, Rodolphus had been a little lexicon of words. His own speech wasn't as smooth or polished as some, but he liked fitting in more appropriate words at times. Especially when they were Bella's. She never seemed to like that. So worn from the night's event, Rodolphus lithe frame had finally ran out of energy at the side of his wife's chair. While she would probably just see him as being weak, Rodolphus didn't care. He really couldn't at the moment.
