Lily was walking around Diagon Ally. She decided to come look around, and maybe shop for awhile. The kids were at school, and she figured that fresh air wouldn't hurt. Lily had gone to a few book stores already, but didn't buy anything. Lily preferd to read muggle books rather than books in the Wizarding World. Both of them were as entertaining, and she learned just as much from both, but she enjoyed muggle ones much more than Wizarding ones. She had come here with her husband James, but knowing him he was most likely around the Joke shops. It wouldn't be very surprising to her if he was. In fact she knew he was over there.
Lily made her way down towards Eyelops Owl Emporium and Magical Menagerie. Lily had an owl herself true, and the kids had already picked out their animals for school. Lily just really wanted to look. She wanted to buy another pet, maybe for the house or something. Lily would only buy it if she came across an owl she liked. She didn't really want anything else.
Lily then walked inside. She started to look around at all the different owls, and all the other animals that were there. She walked up, and down the isles. It took her a few minutes, but then she spotted something she really liked. It was a small baby Tawny owl, and a few other pets that weren't owls. She decided that she was going to get them, but she wanted to look around some more at other stores. She just didnt' want to be carrying it around with her, so she asked the guy behind the counter to hold it for awhile, and that she'd come back for it a little later. As she turned to leave she heard someone call her name.
