The world is altered The Dark Lord took over the world, and now runs everything. Hogwarts School is under Severus Snapes command and Lucius Malfoy runs the ministry. Nowhere is safe.
Curfews are in place in the wizarding villages and no Mudblood or Blood traitor may venture out of their home after 10.00pm. Everything is segregated for Purebloods and the¡¦lower class of wizards. Anyone who is not high class is in great danger and many deaths occur.
But the Order of the Phoenix is forming. Created in Dumbledores memory it is run by Lily and James Potter, they fight for equal rights.

It took a long time for Severus to come to his decision but come to it he did. He needed to brief all the staff anyway. It wasn't strange to attend a staff meeting but it was what he should say to his colleagues that bothered him slightly. Either way he could go back on his choice if needs be although he felt a certain demand to keep to his current choice. Maye because he needed to be some kind of morale person. Deep, deep down.
Black cape billowing behind him as per usual, Severus roamed the halls down to the staff room. Keeping his eyes out for misbehaving students. He knew however that students didn't often behave in Hogwarts school. A lot of the students, in fact possible the majority didn't dare put a toe out of line. Severus like it that way. Control was the best thing to have and when situations weren't under his control he was likely to lose the plot.
He knew that at any other school he would be walking down the corridors and catching students doing magic or setting off dung bombs or grafting or muggle fighting. Perhaps it did happen but the students were wise enough to know not to do it under the nose of Severus Snape. He couldn't help smirking as he pushed open the staff room door.
The room was empty. Good and bad. Good because it meant he had time to prepare but bad because maybe no one had gotten his message that the staff meeting was going to be held here and now. He pulled out his wand and waved it so that all the tables joined to make one long one down the center of the room. He then waved his wand again so that all the chairs seated themselves around the table. Severus sat at the head of the table at the end of the room.
He liked the room set out this way. It was easier to discuss things and you could see every bodies faces. He had learned that from the Dark Lord. He often held his meetings at a table set out like this or you stood in a circle so each and every face could be seen by each and every person. It was then easier to pick out the people who were nervous or put more pressure on the people who were lying.
